Change your thoughts, change your life

In my own personal journey of self-awareness I’ve become increasingly aware of the negative “news reel” going through my mind. It is every so quiet, but with attention to what is going on around me and what I’m feeling I’ve seen how powerful these quiet mantras can be. They are creating my reality! It is in this dedication to self-awareness that I’ve changed my life around and a BIG part of that was changing my thoughts.

Words are very powerful expressions of energy that can either create or destroy and they originate from 1 of 2 places – Love or fear.

Since our thoughts create how we feel and what we experience, today I invite you to explore within how you are feeling (joy or anger), and what you are experiencing (career, relationships, health), and discover what silent mantra you may be speaking to yourself (or even out loud!).

Are they from Love or Fear; creating or destroying?
Some silent, but damaging mantras may be
“I’m not good enough”,
“Who am I to have that?”,
“I’m stupid”
or out spoken ones such as
“I can’t do that”,
“I’m fat”,
“I’m sick”.

Now create a NEW mantra for yourself to replace what you catch yourself speaking. Maybe something like
“I am perfect just as I am”,
“Love comes to me”,
“I am appreciated”
“I am healthy”,
“This is working out perfectly”

Just some ideas… Now, go ROCK ON with your awesome self!
