The Most Important Relationship Is…

The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.

3 tips to nurture the relationship with yourself:

  1. Nurture your needs. If you desire something, give it to yourself. Maybe its free time, a new book, a workshop, a massage, a fancy pen, a nap, or indulging in a latte. Fulfill your own needs in little ways and see how much more loved you feel.
  2. Release toxic relationships. Surround yourself with people who Love you for who you are, who support your successes, and who value you simply because you exist. When you release relationships that no longer serve you, that says you value you, your time, your love, and your energy. You know which relationships I’m referring to – the ones you don’t feel so good with after spending time with them. Let them go – there are others waiting for you to share your brilliance.
  3. Don’t let yourself down. Maintain the commitments you have to yourself. Be true to your own word. Follow through for yourself. It doesn’t feel good when others don’t respect commitments or don’t follow through – you’ve experienced that from another, right? Why do it to yourself? Make yourself a priority!

We attract others into our lives that mirror how we treat ourselves. Nurture Love within you first and foremost and see how what you attract changes.
