Love yourself enough to have your needs met. Drop the fear and shyness and humbly ask for or simply say what it is you want.
You’re not meant to do and be in your life alone. We’re here for one another to share our gifts, our help, our shoulders to lean on, our ears to listen, or arms to hold, and our love expand beyond ourselves.
Do something different and get different results.
I know it can feel scary to ask to have your needs met. You might be afraid of being rejected, afraid of looking weak, or feel ashamed for having a need. I bet for some just thinking about it you can remember these experiences. Those are old fears from past experiences. You’re not the 5 year old wanting to be part of the playground group or the 9 year old who just wanted that “thing” but your family didn’t have money for it. You will not be embarrassed, hurt, or shamed now – unless you decide to feel that way.
If you’ve followed my suggestions from the previous post you’ll be attracting people who will be happy to provide you what you desire. You’re a giving, generous person – you do so much for others. When you allow others to do for you that expands what will come into your life.
Ask then receive with gratitude and see how much your world opens up – beyond what you can even imagine!
